As of May 11, 2023, most plans will no longer cover over-the-counter tests

  • You may use a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to pay for over-the-counter tests.

  • If you have questions about your COVID-19 OTC coverage, call the number on your health plan ID card.

  • If you are part of a plan that still offers COVID-19 test kits at no cost to you, please provide your insurance information at checkout and we will apply the benefit to your cart.

How do I get reimbursed?

  • If you participate in a health plan that is continuing to provide an at-home COVID-19 Test benefit, you can download your receipt through the link at the bottom of your Optum Store order confirmation email.

  • Submit the receipt for reimbursement on your health insurance plan's website.
