On the Optum Store, if the item has an HSA- or FSA-eligible check mark, it’s HSA- or FSA-eligible – and if your claim is denied, we’ll refund your purchase price.
If you purchased a product from the Optum Store with an HSA- or FSA-eligible check and your HSA or FSA plan administrator denies your properly filed claim, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or (855) 946-4463. Depending on the situation we will either immediately provide you with a full refund when you return the product in accordance with our Return Policy or, if appropriate, we will work with you to resubmit your claim. If, after resubmitting your claim, your plan administrator still denies your claim, we will provide you with a full refund in accordance with our Return Policy.
Your FSA provider may specifically prohibit reimbursement for certain categories of items, and it is your responsibility to know the limits of your coverage. If you are denied reimbursement for an item where your provider specifically prohibits reimbursement for an item or category of items, we will consider your claim improperly filed, then these items will be ineligible for a refund.
