While standing or sitting, position the pad on the front of your knee just below your knee cap. Pull the strap back through the D-Ring and fasten the hook & loop closure. Adjust as needed for desired compression. It should not be so tight that it is uncomfortable.
CAUTION: The patella strap provides compression but should not be so tight that it restricts circulation.
