DISCMedline Feeding Set, EntraFlo, EnFit Connector, 1000 mL Bag - 30 ct

This device is intended to dispense liquid nutrition (feeding solutions) at a user controlled rate. These enteral feeding sets interface with a patient's feeding tube and use an enteral feeding pump to dispense feeding solution. The enteral feeding sets include a bag to contain the feeding solution.

● Feeding sets compatible with Medline EntraFlo, Nestle Compat and Sentinel feeding pump. ● Sets designed for use with feeding tubes only, both funnel and ENFit types. ● Feature preattached stepped transition connector.

This item is HSA/FSA eligible.

1. Complete self-adhesive label and affix to bag .
2. Close roller clamp and fill bag with desired volume of nutrient.
3. Close cap and hang bag above and to the side of the pump.
4. Place drip chamber securely into drip chamber bracket on feeding pump.
5. Remove cap from ENFit connector.
6. Open roller clamp, allowing nutrient to fill entire length of tubing, expelling air.
7. Close the roller clamp and replace connector cap.
8. Gently stretch silicone tubing counter-clockwise around pump rotor and insert retainer disk in bracket. Thread tubing through tubing guide.
9. Connect feeding set to patient's enteral feeding tube. Confirm the set is connected to an enteral port and NOT an IV port.
   ● For feeding tubes without the ENFit connection system, use pre-attached ENFit transition connector.
   ● For feeding tubes with an ENFit connection system, remove and discard pre-attached transition connector from set and screw set clockwise into feeding tube. Avoid over tightening.
10. Open roller clamp and start pump.
11. Discard set when feeding is complete, or at least ever 24 hours.

Warnings

Use the pre-attached ENFit Transition Connector to connect enteral feeding systems ONLY if an enteral feeding device equipped with the ENFit connector is not available. The ENFit Transition Connector does not protect against inadvertent misconnections with connectors of non-enteral applications. Serious injury or death is possible in the event of a misconnection. This device is intended for enteral feeding only. Not for IV use.
Single Patient Use Only. Do not reuse. Non-sterile. Do not sterilize. Do not use if opened or damaged. Protect from freezing. Avoid excessive heat. Product is not made with natural rubber latex. Product does not contain DEHP.
