FAQs
According to CDC guidelines, fully vaccinated people with no COVID-19 symptoms do not need to be tested following an exposure to someone with COVID-19.
People who are not fully vaccinated should get tested if they have had close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19. Close contact is defined as being within 6 feet of an infected person for a total of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period starting from 2 days before they began noticing symptoms. Additionally, you should stay away from others pending test results and follow the advice of your health care provider or a public health professional.

In order to protect yourself and others from the highly transmissible Omicron variant, the CDC recommends wearing a mask indoors in public settings if you're in an area of substantial or high COVID-19 transmission, even if you’re fully vaccinated. You will also need to wear a mask where required by state, local, tribal or territorial laws and regulations. Local businesses and workplaces may also have rules and regulations around masking.
